Job Title: Senior P3 Controls Manager

Job Summary:

Lead the P3 Controls teams to deliver integrated Cost Engineering, Planning, Estimating, and Risk Management services across Portfolio, Programme, and Project scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain high-quality P3 controls services, ensuring effective support and timely resource deployment.
2. Manage and motivate a team of P3 Controls Managers and their teams, ensuring they possess the necessary competencies and adhere to policies and procedures.
3. Establish, develop, and communicate P3 controls processes and procedures, including system and tool development and best practice implementation.
4. Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and clients, fostering collaboration.
5. Oversee the development and implementation of baselines, ensuring proper change control and oversight.
6. Manage baseline activities, providing guidance and assurance on change documentation.
7. Support project delivery with quality schedule, cost, and risk monitoring, updates, and forecasts.
8. Report on schedule, cost, and risk information accurately to support portfolio and program management.
9. Represent P3 controls at Programme and Portfolio Boards, providing expert advice.
10. Assist in shaping P3 controls strategy and methodologies.
11. Promote a proactive, learning-oriented team environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in engineering, construction, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing large, diverse teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CCC, CCE, MSP Practitioner, MoR Practitioner, PSP, EVP, PMP, or CAPM are encouraged.
• Proven experience with engineering, procurement, and construction projects, preferably in utilities or construction sectors (>£1B projects).

Skills:

• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel, Cost Management Tools (Costpoint, SAP, PRISM, etc.), and risk management tools.
• Knowledge of project controls methodologies, Earned Value Management, Change Management, and project lifecycle management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Candidates should currently hold or be willing to undergo SC clearance.
