About Us:
Conti Carwil Ltd is an owner and operator in the European Short Sea trade specialising in breakbulk liner services. We are looking for an organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to support the efficient operation of our liner services and contribute to the growth of our company.
Position Overview:
The Operations Coordinator will handle administrative tasks related to scheduling, reporting, cost control, and vessel operational management. This position plays a critical role in the efficiency of fleet management and supporting daily operational needs. Hybrid role and applicant must be able to commute to Central London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post Fixture Operations, Scheduling & Coordination: Manage vessel schedules, coordinate with internal and external teams for cargo handling and assignments.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain reports, ensuring proper documentation such as bills of lading, cargo manifests and vessels reports.
- Cost Control & Administration: Monitor and record operational costs, invoicing and payments.
- Operational Process Support: Assist in resolving operational issues.
- Data Management: Process and maintain operational data in internal systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an administrative role, ideally within maritime or logistics.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Degree/diploma in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of shipping operations is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to study towards Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers examinations.
- Willingness to Travel.
