Location: Gloucester

Salary: £15.10 to £16.10 Per Hour DOE + Contributory Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Group Life Assurance (5x Salary) + Income Protection + Training and Development + Private Medical Insurance

Working Hours: 9/10 Day Working Per Fortnight – Average 37 Hours per Week

Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:15 to 16:00 OR 07:45 to 16:30 (Finish 15 Minutes Earlier on a Friday)

Week 2: Monday to Thursday

Company Overview: Mechanical Fitter required for an industry-leading supplier of manufacturing machinery with a reputation for global excellence. This is a great opportunity to join a company that is truly committed to developing their staff. Within this role, you will be based at a brand-new, purpose-built facility and will be joining an expanding team.

Responsibilities:

1. Fit and assemble machine parts and sub-assembly parts using engineering drawings
2. Use hand and power tools
3. Use pillar drills, deburring tools, and grinding wheels
4. Use measuring equipment to ensure components are to specification
5. Fit pipe, pneumatic and water circuits using copper or plastic pipe work
6. Strip and prepare machines for painting and dispatch
7. Support install teams at customer sites when required

Candidate Requirements:

1. Mechanical fitting/assembly background
2. Experience in any industry
3. Able to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings
