An opportunity for an established Non-Contentious Construction Partner (ideally with a following) to join and help to lead our highly successful team. As a Partner in our well-regarded Construction team, we will support and encourage you to get involved in business development activities and become embedded into your client sectors, as well as nurturing and extending existing client relationships. This role will focus your technical and client management skills with access to challenging and varied work, working alongside highly respected leading practitioners.

This role is right for you if:

  • You are someone with talent, ambition and a proven track record and expertise in Non-Contentious Construction work.
  • With at least 8 years of post-qualification experience, you will have established strong client relationships, very probably, a degree of following.
  • You will have developed strong business development skills and have a vision about how to grow your practice.
  • You will need to be technically excellent but equally, commercially aware.
  • You will need to be a team player with a client-focused approach and a keenness to become involved in business development activities within the team as a whole, having built up strong professional connections.

We value hard working team players, but equally value and promote a positive culture with a strong work-life balance. Yes, there are deadlines to meet, but we do not believe that long hours are healthy or produce great client service. We look for well-rounded teams and individuals, as do our clients.

What we can offer you:

  • A career at Clarke Willmott will feel different to other law firms. We thrive on our individual differences and diversity because as a team, we are united by our shared values and mutual respect.
  • Working with us you will feel empowered, valued and free to be yourself in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Our mission is to help you realise your full potential whilst maintaining a positive work-life balance.
  • We provide a comprehensive learning and development programme and a range of wellbeing initiatives to support your career journey.
  • There’s no doubt we expect the best from our people and even the occasional extra mile. In return, your dedication and commitment to the continued success of the firm will be rewarded with a comprehensive range of flexible benefits.
