As the Value Sales Specialist- Engineering, you will be at the forefront of our sales growth, focusing on expanding our customer base in the Energy Transition Segment. To succeed, we expect you to be a value seller who is passionate about building strong customer relationships and identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities. This position is fully remote and can be based anywhere within the UK. Frequent travel to the customers will be required.
Responsibilities:- Driving sales growth and expanding our customer base by collaborating with channel partners and installers through proactive field engagement.
- Prospecting potential customers and pursuing new sales opportunities across various segments through effective planning and execution of sales strategies.
- Helping customers understand the challenges and benefits of their decarbonization journey, including assisting contractors, installers and system integrators in adopting new energy technologies while developing and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners.
- Collaborating closely with marketing and sales support team to create compelling value propositions for customers.
- Building relationships with all decision-makers in various customer departments such as engineering, operations, marketing, and procurement, including C-level executives.
- Proven experience in sales with a track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets within an engineering industry.
- Understanding of energy transition segment and experience with electrical products would be a plus.
- Experienced in creating and executing comprehensive sales and action plans for both short- and long-term success.
- Comfortable with organizing training sessions for our partners and their customers, with the support of the sales application engineer.
- Enthusiastic about representing Eaton at trade shows, conventions, and events to showcase our Energy Transition products and generate new leads.
- A passionate, highly motivated, results-driven and resilient attitude, with accountability for achieving sales targets.
- Capable of gathering and synthesizing client information, uploading it into CRM software to manage customer relationships and track sales progress.
- Proven ability to establish and sustain positive, productive relationships with partners through exceptional support, fostering mutual trust and long-term growth.
