Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Sedgwick Resource Solutions are seeking applicants from a domestic property claims background, with experience in visiting/inspecting customers’ properties and who are now ready to take the next step into an adjusting role. Alternatively, if you’re already a domestic adjuster then we’d love to talk to you too!

Our client’s focus is centred around taking care of our customers and understanding that when disaster strikes, it’s not just about bricks and mortar - it’s about the people, their homes, and their peace of mind. You’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring that each customer’s journey is as smooth and stress-free as possible, helping them get back on their feet with confidence and care.

  • Managing Your Own Schedule: Working from your home and your local office, you’ll have the responsibility of managing your own diary, giving you the flexibility to arrange site visits and follow-ups at times that suit both you and the customer.
  • Managing Claims: You’ll see claims through from start to finish. Those joining with less experience will predominantly deal with lower value claims until you feel comfortable dealing with those of a higher value. You’ll work closely with a dedicated adjusting executive, as well as having the wider support of your colleagues within your local regional team.
  • Conducting Site Visits: You’ll visit properties to assess damage and understand the full scope of claims, using your keen eye for detail to document everything accurately. You’ll be the face of the client, embodying their ethos of care and professionalism whilst delivering fast but fair settlements of the customer’s claim.
  • Documenting and Reporting: From photos to paperwork, you’ll ensure every claim is documented meticulously and submitted in line with company and regulatory standards.
  • Experienced in Property Claims: You will have a background in domestic property claims and a strong understanding of what’s involved in assessing damage, managing expectations, and guiding customers through the claims process. You understand that the customer is at the heart of all that you do, and you’ll be able to identify anyone who is vulnerable and make appropriate adjustments to your interactions and your handling of their claim.
  • Full UK driving license: A must, as you will be travelling to visit customers. Our client offers a flexible environment, but you will also need to be flexible in return.
  • Support: You’ll have the backing of a dedicated adjusting executive and a local office team who are there to help you every step of the way.
  • Professional Growth: A client that is committed to your development, offering training and opportunities to expand your skills and grow your career.
  • A Great Culture: Join a company where people matter.
  • Competitive Benefits: Our client offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package including an excellent bonus scheme, car allowance/company car, private healthcare, a healthy work-life balance and lots more!

Our client is an equal-opportunity employer who celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, gender, religion, age, disability, or any other characteristic.
