Infinity Employment are seeking an experienced Signage Fitter for our client based in Portsmouth. The role involves fitting a wide range of signage for various customers nationally. This position will include overnight stays on a regular basis, particularly on Mondays and Tuesdays a few times per month. Expenses and accommodation will be provided on those occasions. The right candidate must be flexible and comfortable working at heights when needed. Knowledge of electrics and an exceptional level of attention to detail are essential. As this is a customer-facing role, candidates must be presentable with good communication skills when interacting with customers and team members. A positive attitude and natural leadership qualities are important, as you will be overseeing fitter’s mates. This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a 1pm finish on Fridays. Overtime earnings are currently estimated at an additional £5,000 – £10,000 per year on top of your salary, which ranges from £28,000 – £30,000 depending on experience.
Experience:
- Fitting experience (preferably signs or trades)
- Proficient in using various hand tools
- Multi-skilled with assembling or joining experience
- Good numerate and literate skills for measuring
- Early morning starts for travelling (0600)
- Strong attention to detail
- Leadership skills
- Good communication
- Positive attitude (stay until the work is completed)
Qualifications:
- CSCS Card
- IPAF, PASMA (preferred)
- Clean driving licence for 2 years and over 25 years for insurance purposes
- Health and Safety regulations knowledge
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday 0700 – 16.30
- Friday – 0700 – 1300
