Assistant Transport Planner

Location: Central London

Salary: 30k - 38k + 25 days holiday + bonus + pension + hybrid working and more

Emtech are working with a growing Engineering Consultancy who are looking for an Assistant Transport Planner or Transport Planner with 1-3 years experience to join their team in London. Ideally you will have prior experience within transport planning and be well versed in report writing for London based projects.

As a business they are a tight team working on an exciting array of projects in the UK but are primarily involved with developments in London & the South. Ideally you will have the following experience:

• 1+ years experience in transport assessments, transport statements, travel plans
• Experienced in junction modelling and layout design would be beneficial
• A confident communicator who is able to speak to clients about project issues etc
• Technical capability with Junctions 9, ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG would be useful (experience on all is not essential, training provided)
• Previous experience on residential, retail and commercial schemes would be beneficial

In this role you will be joining an established company as part of a growing transport planning team. You will have the opportunity to work under a team of experienced Directors and take ownership of your own projects. In the London office there is a team of 80 staff across different disciplines. A key aspect of this role is the level of involvement you will get on an excellent range of landmark London projects.
