We are working with a well-established food manufacturer that is about to enter its busiest three months. They need a hands-on, experienced Production Manager to step in immediately and drive operations forward.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, results-driven production leader. The right candidate will play a critical role in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards in food safety, quality, and efficiency.

The Role

As Production Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production runs seamlessly during this peak period. You will need a strategic mindset and strong leadership skills to keep teams engaged and performance high in a demanding, time-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Oversight: Managing site-wide operations to meet demand while maintaining efficiency and food safety.
2. Team Leadership: Leading production teams, ensuring engagement, motivation, and productivity.
3. Food Safety & Compliance: Maintaining high-care food safety regulations, hygiene protocols, and quality assurance processes.
4. Process Optimisation: Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance.
5. Problem-Solving Under Pressure: Managing challenges proactively to ensure smooth operations during this peak period.

What they\’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in food manufacturing, ideally within high-care environments.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing production teams.
• Hands-on approach: Capable of making quick, effective decisions under pressure.
• Ability to plan and schedule: Managing a busy and fast production schedule.
