Integrated Place Based Team South Lincs & Rural

Shine Lincolnshire, working in partnership with Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust (LPFT), is looking to recruit 1 x part-time (30 hrs) Peer Support Worker on a fixed-term contract until 30 September 2025, with the potential for an extension subject to ongoing funding.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has their own lived experiences of poor mental health and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will be able to share the wisdom they have gained from their own personal journey to inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others. The Peer Support Workers will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to clients, enabling them to regain control over their health, lead meaningful lives and develop their own unique recovery process.
The role will be working within the local Integrated Place Based Teams (IPBT).

(An Integrated Place Based Team is a team that sits at the heart of the community and is made up of multiple professionals all working together to support individuals to live the best quality of life possible. They work together to promote self-efficiency through a person-centred approach and bridge the gap between voluntary, health and social care.)
The role will work within the South Lincs & Rural area; PE11 3DT.

Please note that applicants will need to be able to travel independently across their PCN area; plus meetings in Horncastle and events throughout Lincolnshire.

Closing date for submission of your completed application form is 5pm Wednesday, 4th December 2024 and submitted to kerry@shinelincolnshire.com.
