We are currently looking for a Multi Trade Plumber to join our team in Bristol.
Overall purpose of the role: We are seeking an experienced and versatile Multi-Skilled Plumber. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems and have skills in related trades such as electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills are essential.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
- Ensure all plumbing work is performed in compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal functionality.
- Repair or replace damaged pipes, valves, and fixtures as necessary.
- Perform basic carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations, such as framing and drywall repair.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing plumbing and maintenance tasks.
- Provide clear explanations of plumbing issues and potential solutions to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time, materials used, and client communications.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a plumber, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and techniques.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in plumbing are required; additional skills in electrical work or carpentry are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including indoors, outdoors, and in confined spaces.
