Temporary People Systems Administrator – Human Resources

Pay Rate: £15.50 per day PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 5-6 months

This is a hybrid role, ideally someone will be based within our operating region or local to it to enable travel into an office if required. Operating region covers Hants, Wilts, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall & London.
Reporting to People Operations Lead, the People Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our HR technology landscape.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaboratively working with the Programme Delivery Group (PDG) to ensure the seamless implementation of a new HR System through the project into BAU.
- Collecting, analysing, formatting, maintaining, and importing migration data into our People systems ensuring data integrity.
- Carrying out system administration activities, producing and maintaining related process documentation, guides and training as required.
- Working in conjunction with the People and IT teams with integrations between the People, Payroll, Workforce Management, and other systems.
- Participate in UAT, SIT/SAT throughout.
- Liaising and collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Provide general, day-to-day support to the People Operations team and wider People team, enabling resilience in the team by supporting with Transactional processes as required.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks that are required.
Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English (grades 4 – 9) or equivalent.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Experience supporting an HRIS solution.
- Strong background in supporting system integrations and a solid understanding of Microsoft products.
- Clear understanding of the principles of data management.
- A clear understanding the entire HR Recruitment to Retirement process.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
- Experience of process improvement.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Package: Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams, SharePoint; PowerApps, PowerBI would be advantageous.
