The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for:
- Event support: Assisting with event planning and execution and attending events to provide on-the-day support.
- Networking calendar: Organising and managing the networking calendar, including arranging bookings.
- Website: Using the Content Management System (WordPress CMS) to update the firm’s website.
- Mailshot creation: Designing and distributing newsletters via Mailchimp, including keeping mailing lists up to date.
- Artwork creation: Creation of marketing materials and artwork using Canva.
- Social media: Assisting with social media campaigns.
- Internal newsletter: Compiling news and editing the internal newsletter to keep employees informed.
- Photography coordination: Coordination of photography sessions.
- Podcast support: Supporting team members with the production of podcasts.
- Marketing administration: Handling administrative tasks such as arranging payment of invoices.
Requirements and experience:
- Experience/qualifications: +1 years previous experience in a marketing role, administrative role in a professional services/office environment, and/or a marketing qualification would be advantageous.
- Flexibility and proactivity: Be adaptable and take initiative in your tasks.
- Organisational skills: Ability to plan your time and manage a busy and varied workload.
- Interpersonal skills: Confident in working with colleagues at all levels across the business.
- Attention to detail: Strong written communication, proof-reading skills and attention to detail.
- Creativity: A creative mindset with a willingness to contribute new ideas.
- Technical skills: Previous experience using Mailchimp, Canva and a website CMS (such as WordPress) is advantageous but not required.
- Driving licence: A full UK driving licence.
- Travel and hours: Willingness to travel between our five offices when necessary and work outside normal working hours when needed.
