Barker Munro Recruitment has a great opportunity for any experienced Claims handlers who are looking to further their insurance career within an award-winning organisation. You’ll be a fantastic communicator with a passion for building customer relationships and above all being the point of contact. You’ll be given excellent training and you’ll handle a variety of end-to-end motor claims across differing heads of damage, for example, FNOL, Recoveries, Third Party, or PI, ensuring fair and timely settlements for customers while adhering to the company's philosophy of claim ownership. You will seek opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and deliver good outcomes for customers throughout the claims journey.
The Claims Specialist will handle end-to-end claims. This is a hands-on, multi-tasking role, and we are looking for some previous claims handling experience within either the insurance, financial services, or solicitor sector. Working flexibly, you’ll spend the first 6 months in the office getting up to speed, learning, and training to be the best! Once your probation has been passed, it’s time to work 3 days from home and 2 days in the office for a work-life balance. If you prefer to be in the office more – that’s fine too. It’s a 37.5 hour working week Monday to Friday on 3 shifts which are 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm, and 10am to 6pm. The basic salary is £24,000 - £28,000 plus plenty of progression within the team and business. A fabulous benefits package awaits the successful candidates including 25 days holiday. Start date: 9th September 2024.
