Donβt miss this great opportunity to join our team on a full or part-time basis, to support one woman and three men living in a shared supported living service in Kingswood, not far from the high street and main bus routes. We provide a service to support these individuals with a Learning Disability and/or enduring Mental Health needs who require members of staff who are enthusiastic, kind, caring, supportive, flexible to meet their needs, adaptable to change and who likes to spend time doing activities (both inside and outside of the service).
The tenants require some support in reaching their goals. They require someone who will have a person-centred approach and who will understand their different needs. The successful candidate(s) will be working on a 1:1 basis with the individuals alongside working core shifts.
The shift pattern varies depending on the day; however, the day shift is generally 10am β 6pm and the sleep-in shift is 4pm β 11pm (sleep-in) 7am β 10am. There are various 1-1 hours which we usually provide on Sunday - Friday although these can be flexible depending on the plans and wishes of the tenants.
It is important for these individuals to work with someone who is friendly, kind, reliable and patient but also someone who is driven, energetic, confident working on their own and has ideas on how to spend time productively.
