Mon - Fri 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Office Based. I am working with a National Law company that due to growth is now seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them at their Warrington Offices. This is a busy and fun office where you will work as part of a team to ensure all the daily accounting functions are completed.
Responsibilities:
- Daily bank statement reconciliations
- Process weekly supplier and miscellaneous bacs payments
- Process monthly petty cash and foreign currency cash journals
- Process monthly company credit card and other expense claims
- Assist the accounts payable and receivable function
- Provide accounts payable and accounts receivable cover for holidays/sickness
- Raising all direct post invoices and credit notes
- Other ad hoc duties to support the Financial Controller and Management Accountant
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- AAT level 2 minimum qualification or 3 years experience
- Payroll experience is very desirable
- Experience in a Finance Environment
- ERP System experience would be desirable to build good working relationships across all levels
