My client is based in Preston and are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant/Manager to join their small team on a permanent full time basis. The organisation is a registered charity and their reputation is built on quality and excellence and they are looking for a candidate to strive to match their goals.
The key requirements and responsibilities are as follows:
- Processing all sales invoices across the network
- Bank reconciliations
- Helping to prepare monthly management accounts
- Reconciling outstanding debtors and reporting on debts to the accounts manager
- Credit control ensuring all outstanding invoices are chased
- Acting as a direct point of contact for client queries both large and small accounts
- Assisting the accounts manager and financial controller on ad-hoc projects as required
The following are also either required:
- Experience in an accounts environment
- AAT Qualification is preferable
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
- Competent on Sage line 50 and Microsoft Excel
- Analytical mind to help build on strong processes in place
