We are now looking to increase our Apprentice Headcount due to a number of our existing apprentices successfully completing their apprenticeships. Modern day Apprenticeships are available across the following disciplines within Gray & Adams in conjunction with NESCOL:
- Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic Disciplines
- Welding / Fabrication
- Drawing Office
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for individuals who are looking for the opportunity to develop their skills within a working environment. If you’re over 16, living in the UK and not in full-time education, then you are eligible to become an apprentice with Gray & Adams.
What are the entry requirements?
Preferred applicants will have a minimum of National 4 Qualifications in Maths, English and one Technical Studies Subject, however, all applicants shall be considered. Candidates must pass the Company’s aptitude tests and skills assessments as part of the recruitment process to be considered suitable for the respective disciplines.

All applicants will be pre-screened, we use a variety of selection methods, including application forms, interview, competence and technical, aptitude and measurement testing. Following a pre-screening and sight of documentation confirming eligibility to work in the UK (as defined by the Immigration Act 2014), employment will be offered to successful candidates in writing.
