The predicted salary is between 16352 - 16700 £ per year.

Permanent Contract, Part-Time, Term-Time only, plus an additional 4 weeks (37 weeks worked per year).

The annual salary will be £16,351.97 plus holiday pay (£26,717.56 Full-Time Equivalent).

Our client is a vibrant, inclusive co-educational school covering age ranges from 3 months to 19 years. They currently have a great opportunity, seeking to recruit a Science Technician for their Senior School.

In this role, you would be supporting their Head Technician in the delivery of Science provisions, assisting in the creation and delivery of laboratory experiment orders, as well as assisting Teachers and Technicians with day-to-day requests.

You will be responsible for carrying out the preparation and cleaning of equipment for practical science, as well as the tidying and cleaning of the laboratory facilities, checking practical provisions, reporting any problems through the appropriate channels, carrying out periodic safety checks on specialist equipment, and dealing with emergencies in lessons such as breakages and spills.

They are looking for someone with a high regard for quality of work, and attention to detail, who also has the ability to follow a defined work flow, meet deadlines, and have the ability to multitask. For this role, they will be considering both experienced Technicians and Apprentices who they can train into the role.
