Quantity Surveyor

A leading top tier contractor is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join the expanding commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to lead the delivery of design and build projects for an award-winning Tier 1 contractor. They have several projects started including a new build school in Birmingham (£15m) where the successful candidate would work as the commercial lead alongside the project delivery team.

They have a focus on frameworks and boast an extensive project portfolio which includes education, healthcare, MoJ / MoD and commercial projects ranging from £5m - £35m. They have a full order book for 2025 and into 2026 and can offer excellent opportunities for development and progression as the West Midlands region expands over the next 5 years.

Requirements:

Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor
Experience dealing with / managing final accounts
Experience managing sub-contractor variations
Industry related qualification

Responsibilities:

Experience on Design & Build projects £5m - £35m
Procurement and managing sub-contract packages
Dealing with variations and valuations
Production of CVRs

The Package:

Basic salary of £50,000 - £60,000
Company Car Allowance (£5,500)

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects ranging from £5m - £20m.
