3t is currently looking to recruit a Lead Trainer – Gas & Water on a permanent contract located in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Role
- To act as line manager for all Utilities Trainers and to provide technical and training leadership.
- Ensure the Utilities Practical area is compliant with the UCT Health and Safety Policy.
- Provide advice, assistance and support to the Utilities trainers and assessors where required.
- Work with the IQA on specialized technical Utilities distribution updates.
- Co-operate with the internal quality assurance procedures and assist in implementing new procedures.
- Support the scheduling of Utilities Training Courses along with involvement with the planning/resource team.
- Provide mentorship to new Utilities training staff within the probation period by giving information, guidance, advice and constructive feedback.
- Deliver the range of Utilities training courses that UCT currently offer to its customers and clients.
- Lead the Utilities team with a ‘can do attitude’ promoting positivity and a drive for high performance.
- Represent UCT as a subject matter expert on industry-led qualification development initiatives as required.

Qualifications
- 5 years of industry experience.

- Assessing Competence in the Work Environment Level 3, A1 or D32/33 Qualification.
- Health and Safety Qualification (IOSH / NEBOSH) (Desired).
