About the role:
Kent is seeking an Electrical Control & Instrument Engineer to join our Engineering & Consulting team. You will work on diverse projects within the Oil and Gas, Offshore Wind, and Low Carbon sectors, providing technical support and contributing to project deliverables.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing EC&I technical input for concept, pre-FEED, and FEED projects.
- Preparing and reviewing project documentation.
- Collaborating with other disciplines and representing the company in client meetings.
- Liaising with vendors and contributing to bids and proposals.
Minimum requirements:
- Degree in Instrument and Control or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Chartered status or working towards it is advantageous.
- Experience in controls & instrumentation, with some electrical experience preferred.
- Experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries is preferred.
Skills and qualities:
- Excellent command of English, both oral and written.
- Understanding of industry codes and standards.
- Ability to produce and review technical documentation.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, reliable, and professional.
