This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract with the potential for extension. Footballco is working with a number of high profile brands around the FIFA 2026 World Cup and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of one of our biggest clients.
The role is a 12-month fixed term contract and we are looking for a self-starting, well organised and confident Project Manager with experience in managing digital and social media campaigns in football. Reporting into the Project Director the role will see the individual working as part of a dedicated client team to deliver this global activation, involving multiple shoots with top-tier football talent and the roll-out of the project across digital, social and OTT platforms.
As a Project Manager, you will have the ability to efficiently manage multiple workflows, relationships and stakeholders at the same time. Although situated in the Client Services team, you’ll be working with multiple strands of the business globally from Creative to Production to Editorial.

This position is based in our London offices (Holborn).
What You’ll be doing:
- Project management - Understanding the end-to-end process for delivering the client campaign, overseeing project plans, extensive internal and external meetings and conducting tasks as directed by the Global Project Lead and Project Director.
- Meeting cadence - responsible for the arranging of all internal and external meetings, managing agendas, the taking and circulation of notes/actions and ensuring the project moves forward to a high standard.
- Creative understanding - guide content and creative teams using your understanding of media platform formats and styles of creatives that work best on each platform. Briefing of design assets into internal design teams and reviewing ad creative to suggest where we can adapt to aid in performance.
- Analysis & optimisation - Closely monitoring the campaign performance ensuring that activity delivers as scheduled and is optimised for performance as well as analysing performance to see where improvements could be made and make recommendations.
- Campaign reporting – keep across the campaigns and make sure timely and accurate reports are delivered to all key stakeholders – analysing performance, highlighting key learnings and insights that will ensure we are constantly evolving and progressing our approach.
- Stakeholder management - develop a detailed understanding of all stakeholders, your client’s ecosystem and build relationships.
What You Have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client services or project management role within a Media Agency, right holder or brand environment, preferably in the sports marketing space.
- A passion for everything media and sport, coupled with a continued desire to expand your knowledge.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to juggle and prioritise multiple clients and tasks.
- Capable of performing under pressure and delivering to deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- Confident in putting together and delivering client presentations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent Communication Skills, personable and confident with the ability to collaborate with those around you.
- Ability to work across multiple teams.
- A high degree of self-motivation and enthusiasm.
- A committed, positive and proactive approach.
- Technical Skills - Advanced skills pertaining to Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially Excel.
- Expertise using Google Ads, Facebook & Instagram Ad Manager to review performance.
