Job Description
The HR Project Manager partners with leaders in sales and human resources (HR) consulting to ensure that projects are planned, implemented, and executed in a manner that meets and exceeds client and internal expectations. HR Project Managers may also provide direction to Project Managers and (Senior) Project Coordinators to support project objectives. This role involves delivering tailored HR solutions and professional services for large-scale projects to a variety of global clients. The ideal candidate will have project management experience in Business or HR Consulting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction and professional client interactions through seamless delivery of Korn Ferry solutions.
- Develop expertise in Korn Ferry\’s solutions and broader offerings to advise internal teams and understand client needs.
- Assist during the sales cycle by reviewing project proposals, scope, and budgets.
- Support business development and delivery teams to identify expansion opportunities.
- Develop project governance frameworks and ensure effective communication across workstreams.
- Partner with engagement managers to staff projects and ensure teams have necessary tools and resources.
- Apply best practices and recommend process improvements for delivery.
- Manage execution of large-scale projects, including multiple workstreams and stakeholder management.
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, tracking, and closing.
- Manage scope, deadlines, budgets, and mitigate issues and risks.
- Handle project financials, including budgets, forecasting, billing, and revenue tracking.
- Serve as primary contact for client updates, issue resolution, and data tracking.
- Coordinate meetings and document outcomes/actions.
- Provide direction to project support teams and oversee quality assurance.
- Manage vendors and external contractors according to internal processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- 6-8 years of project or account management experience, with at least 5 years managing large, complex projects.
- Experience in global project management preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of MS Project or SAP as a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is advantageous.
- Experience in training or consulting focused on people performance is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, strategic, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to build relationships, influence, and communicate professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality services.
- Comfort working with diverse backgrounds and occasional travel.
Education
A minimum of a bachelor\’s degree in business or a related field is highly preferred.
