Weston Park is a residential and nursing home located on the outskirts of Macclesfield Town situated in a quiet residential area. The home is accessible via a main bus route and easily accessible from the Leek and Congleton Roads. Weston Park provides a variety of care for 72 residents over two units. Mulberry unit provides nursing with dementia care and Weaver unit provides general nursing care. In addition, to the existing services we are reopening our 30 bedded service following refurbishment and therefore we require Domestic and Laundry Assistants to join our existing team.

Responsibilities of a Domestic/Laundry Assistant:
- Helps to maintain a safe, healthy and pleasant environment.
- Ensures the linen and residents clothes are kept clean and in a good state of repair at all times.
- Ensures that residents clothes are labelled with correct ID.
- Maintains linen stores in a clean and organised manner.
- Carries out cleaning duties in accordance with the homes requirements.
- Reports any defects, faults, or maintenance requirements to cleaning equipment or furnishings.
- Uses and stores cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Ensures adequate cleaning supplies are available at all times.
- Helps to maintain a safe, healthy and pleasant environment for colleagues and Service Users.
- Ensures the facility and all furnishings are clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensures that all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.
