Due to growth and expansion within our team, SGL is hiring for a range of roles: Event Safety Stewards, SIA Event Stewards, and SIA Event Supervisors working within the Glasgow area, to demonstrate our values of Loyalty, Integrity, and Professionalism while delivering a high standard of service.

What We Need From You:

  • Be able to work on a flexible schedule.
  • Be approachable and have good customer service skills.
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate a reliable and flexible work ethic.
  • Provide a full 5-year checkable history.
  • Have or be willing to obtain a basic disclosure (Non-SIA candidates only).

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Extend a warm and professional welcome to venue visitors.
  • Screen individuals for entry suitability.
  • Collaborate with clients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Conduct searches for unauthorized or illegal items.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to incidents within queues or the venue.
  • Offer customer support and manage incidents both inside and outside the venue.
  • Maintain a security presence to ensure smooth operations and enhance the customer experience.
