We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is a highly regarded and successful main contractor. They have an excellent reputation for successfully delivering construction and refurbishment services with a high level of customer satisfaction. The group have unrivalled staff retention achieved through investment and development of their employees. They hold a huge presence in London undertaking an interesting mixture of refurbishment projects that include Commercial, Education, and Local Authority contracts.
This is a rare opportunity to join one of their established teams at Senior Site Manager level. Furthermore, there is a requirement for a Contracts Manager within their team and the plan is to hire a Senior Site Manager who has ambitions to make the transition. The current workload and growth plans are in place to allow it.
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
- As a Senior Site Manager, you will have experience of managing a range of refurbishment projects from initial inception through to final handover and final account.
- Experience of having Supervisors and Resident Liaison Officer direct reports.
- Overall responsibility for the performance of the contracts with the ability to produce construction phase plans, ensuring works are on schedule, on budget and sub-contractors are working safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively to both external clients and internal team members on the day-to-day progress of the project.
- Be highly organised, self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail to ensure that paperwork and reports are fully completed and submitted in-line with the company procedures.
