The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant (DevOps) to join our team at AWS. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll play a key role in driving customer success through their cloud journey by providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and assess current infrastructure.
  • Propose effective migration strategies to AWS and lead the implementation process.
  • Provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, and manage project risks.
  • Travel to UK client locations (3-4 days per week) to deliver professional services.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a technical consultant with Agile delivery experience (Certified Scrum Master preferred).
  • Minimum of an associate AWS certification.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to work effectively across organizations.
  • Experience with modern application architecture and software development tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
  • AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional).
  • Scripting skills in languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or GoLang.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • UK Government Security Clearance and UK nationality are required for this role.
