Your new company Hays Recruitment is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic public sector finance team. This is a key role offering the opportunity to influence financial decision-making, support senior leadership, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial services. Your new role Deliver comprehensive financial management to designated departments. Provide strategic financial insight and challenge to senior leaders. Lead on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning. Ensure financial governance, compliance, and value for money. Support business case development and long-term financial planning. Act as a liaison between operational and corporate finance teams. Promote financial awareness and deliver training across departments. Contribute to continuous improvement and transformation of finance functions. What you\βll need to succeed Full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body. Minimum 2 years\β post-qualification experience in management accounting and financial analysis. Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills. A valid driving licence or access to transport to meet the role\βs requirements.
