The Company: Our client is a fast-growing, progressive law firm. They work closely with SMEs, banking & finance clients, debt collection companies, High Court Enforcement Agencies and Insolvency Practitioners.
The Job: On behalf of this client, we are seeking a Legal Secretary / PA. Due to their growth, they are seeking an Administrator with legal experience (or professional services experience) to support them with all daily legal administrative tasks.
Responsibilities will include:
- File Management including setting up new files and ensuring AML checks are completed, closing files, and archiving matters and sending the files to storage.
- Saving and updating documents to the case management system, Visualfiles.
- Producing correspondence.
- Answering the front door on occasions, greeting clients, dealing with couriers, etc.
- Arranging refreshments for meetings and preparing the boardroom.
- CE-filing documents on the Court system.
- Photocopying, paginating, scanning, and printing.
- Preparing bundles using Bundledocs as per fee earner instructions.
- Ordering office supplies when required.
- Expenses for fee earners.
The Person: For this role, our client is seeking someone who has gained legal administration, assistant, or secretarial experience. They are also seeking someone who can:
- Work in a team and as an individual.
- Demonstrate good written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels.
- Exhibit a professional telephone manner and the ability to take messages efficiently.
- Show excellent organisational skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
- Use initiative and prioritise work.
- Work under pressure and maintain deadlines.
The Salary: £30-32,000.
The Location: London EC1R (near Farringdon Station) – Hybrid working.

The Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm (4 days in the office (Mondays essential) and 1 day from home).
