About The Role
Ashleigh House is a 26-bed residential care home in Darlington supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, mental health issues and complex care needs to live their best life! We support individuals to partake in group BBQs, weekly bingo and quiz nights! We also love organising coffee mornings and socialising. Some of the individuals we support visit day centres and get up to all sorts of activities, someone recently came home with a birdhouse he had made! We have a very stable staff team, the fulfilment you get from working here is amazing, you get to support individuals and go home and feel you’ve achieved something great! We are a very dynamic team and always so positive, the service is very fun!
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll be instrumental in providing high-quality, enabling care, facing new challenges and rewards daily. Your leadership and expertise are key to our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed, person-centered support plans that promote health, wellbeing, relationships, and diversity, while ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
