We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our forward-thinking and innovative School Nursing team, which is part of the Public Health 0-19 services in Merton. Central London Community Healthcare is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and innovative practitioner to join the School Nursing Service in Merton.
NOTE: The applicant must be a Registered Nurse with current UK NMC registration, plus a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) Qualification in School Nursing. PREVIOUSLY APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY.
Main duties of the job
The School Nursing service comprises of a large skill mix team, which is structured to deliver core and targeted health input through the Healthy Child Programme to all school-aged children and their families. The applicant should demonstrate leadership skills, knowledge of safeguarding and child protection processes, and offer flexibility in managing their caseload. In addition, they should have a strong public health focus and be fully committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our diverse school-aged population.

- Registered Nurse with current UK NMC registration
- Specialist Community Public Health Nurse School Nursing /working towards SCPHN qualification
- Evidence of continuing post-registration education and training
