We are currently seeking a Client Care Advisor to join our fantastic team. You will be front of house, welcoming clients and their pets into the practice.

The Pets'n'Vets Family part of the Linnaeus Group have practices across the Glasgow area. We have a position primarily based at our Roundhouse Veterinary Hospital in Pollokshaws, but the successful applicants may also be required to work at any of our other practices. The Roundhouse Hospital provides both a first-class referral service and 1st opinion clinical work.

Our receptionists are often the first point of contact when the client calls or arrives at the hospital and our other practices. The receptionists are a friendly face and listening ear when our clients need it most, and valued support for our clinical teams. No previous veterinary receptionist experience necessary as the successful candidates will go through an initial intense training programme.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Manage and deal with appointment bookings in a professional and efficient manner
  • Support the business with a range of administrative duties
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and still maintain a high level of customer service and completing all tasks to a high standard
  • Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards
  • Handle financial transactions and communicate confidently with clients
  • Keep the reception and waiting area tidy
  • Excellent IT skills – Microsoft (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Stock Control
