RBH currently have an opportunity for an energetic, creative and people-focusedSenior Social Media and Digital Officerto join our Communications and Marketing team.
You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering the organisation’s campaigns and social media strategies, managing our digital and social media channels and ensuring that we best use those channels to effectively communicate with all our customer, colleague and stakeholder audiences.

To help us do this, you’ll gather insight, use this to shape our social and digital media approach, and then evaluate that work to make sure we’re reaching the right people, at the right time, in the right way for them.
This is a strategic role, with line management responsibilities as well as wider responsibilities for championing and embedding the RBH brand and strategy across our channels and campaigns.
You’ll work closely with the rest of our Communications and Marketing team and across the organisation, providing a seamless, outcomes-focused, and multi-channel approach that demonstrates the very best practice in social media and digital marketing.
Key areas of work:
- Designing and delivering outcomes-focused communications and marketing campaigns for internal and external audiences.
- Designing and delivering RBH’s Social Media Strategy.
- Managing RBH’s digital and social media channels, using insight and knowledge of digital change and trends to drive continual improvement.
- Creating engaging content based on sound insight that is suitable for a range of traditional and digital channels.
- Ensuring all social and digital media content is in line with relevant legislation, including accessibility requirements and media law.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who:
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent professional experience.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Qualification in a communications or marketing-related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience working in Communications or Marketing or a related field.
- Experience of producing high-quality digital and traditional communications and marketing materials for a range of channels and audiences.
- Experience in using video and design software, as well as a range of social and digital media platforms.
- Knowledge of digital and social media legislation, including accessibility requirements and media law.
