SF are currently recruiting for a highly respected, multi-award-winning leading food manufacturer with a fantastic heritage based in Heanor on a permanent basis as an Assistant Management Accountant. This role offers great opportunity for training and progression for the right candidate.
Salary: up to £30,000
Working Arrangement: 3 days working from home
Hours: Flexible working hours - Full time (37.5 hours)

Job Duties:
- Support Operations Finance Business Partner with weekly reporting & statistics.
- Support Operations in the analysis and interpretation of factory performance and overhead expenditure.
- Challenge the adequacy/accuracy through analytic review.
- Monitor Site overheads and liaise with departments to ensure the full year forecast is understood and controlled.
- Support the Operations Finance Business Partner in preparation of weekly variances and P&L reporting.
- Overall responsibility for the reconciliation and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
- Prepare and complete monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations with associated backing for review with Operations Finance Business Partner.
- Assist with Month-End duties to prepare Management Accounts for Business Partner to review.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have the following:
- AAT Qualified or equivalent.
- Team player.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience within Month-End duties.
