You will work with both internal and external partners to ensure that excellent services are delivered to our customers within our Neighbourhoods. Through proactive communication via a variety of platforms including social media you will help ensure customers are kept updated on what is happening in our neighbourhoods, working with the team to proactively identify and resolve any issues.

This role can offer hybrid working, meaning you will be required to be in the office/neighbourhoods for around 3-4 days a week with the rest being from home; however, we may need you to be in the office more during your probation, whilst you get up to speed.

Some of the key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • To effectively manage a team delivering services that is focused on customers, communities and neighbourhoods.
  • To empower and motivate the Neighbourhoods Team to consistently meet and exceed performance targets relating to neighbourhood services.
  • To proactively manage and effectively resolve underperformance within the Neighbourhood team.
  • Ensure that regular communication is shared via a range of tools including face-to-face, photographs, social media, via the PA Housing website, on noticeboards or through PA on tour events.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships, both internally and externally, to maximise the impact of joint working and actively promote interagency working throughout the team.
  • Demonstrate commitment to PA Housing values and actively promote these behaviours in all relationships to promote a culture consistent with PA Housing values.

To be successful in this role, we’d be looking for the following:

  • A Level or equivalent or NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in housing.
  • Relevant Landlord and Tenant Law and Practice.
  • Current relevant legislation, regulation, and process.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a housing environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing staff performance, including disciplinary and capability.

This role requires the successful candidate to complete a DBS check. A DBS check will show any unspent convictions. This role will be required to visit/support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore, we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing. Having unspent convictions will not necessarily preclude you from being recruited into the role; if you are potentially the successful candidate, we will complete a risk assessment with you to understand the circumstances around your conviction, how relevant they are to the post you have applied for and what remedial action, if any, you have taken since your conviction. Suitable references will also need to be obtained prior to the commencement of employment.
