About the Role: This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual looking for a long-term career opportunity. This is a permanent position with ample scope for progression within the company. No prior experience in sales or knowledge of fire alarm systems is required as full training will be provided, however, is of course preferable. Our office in Redhill is an inbound call center, where we manage and assist customers nationally who require any one of our services. The role includes responding to customer enquiries (via email, call and online chat programme), providing excellent customer service, advice, and producing quotations for customer review.

Duties:

  • To assist customers via phone, email and online chat assisting customers with their queries, providing guidance, advice and support.
  • Providing our customers with excellent customer service, guiding our customers to the right products or services.
  • Creation of quotations, including a technical breakdown of any required works (via our own internal CMS system).
  • Taking inbound calls from customers requiring additions to their systems and providing quotations accordingly.
  • Keeping in touch with our clients after the issue of any quotation, completing outbound calls to follow up on issued quotations (Between 40-80 per day) to ensure our customer's needs have been met, providing support and answering any questions they may have.
  • Account/Customer Management.
  • Working towards your own goals and assisting team members reach their own individual and global sales team targets.

Training Provided: Internal and external training opportunities will be provided. Internal operations, customer handling/service, technical training, shadowing engineering teams, and system training will be provided by our management team. External third-party courses (such as courses from the Fire Industry Association) will also be arranged to provide offering both a real-world and technical knowledge base. Previous occupants of this role, after training, are now in senior management roles or key account managers, showing our continued commitment to training and development.

  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written).
  • Friendly, positive, and pro-active "can do" attitude.
  • This is of the highest importance.
  • Personal drive, determination, and energy.
  • A high level of self-motivation.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Must have a passion for customer service.
  • Will be able to prioritise and manage workload.

Remuneration Structure: You will receive a Competitive Salary Basic Wage – From £16,000 to £20,000 per Annum plus a generous bonus scheme. On-target Earnings/Bonus Scheme: Uncapped bonus scheme with on-target earnings of £10,000 plus per annum, with overperformers earning circa £12,000-£20,000 a year. Company pension scheme. 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays - With an additional day per full year of employment completed (Jan – Dec) up to a maximum of 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays per year. Ongoing training and development programme.

Working Hours: The role is a full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with a 30-minute lunch period. There is no requirement to work any overtime or weekends, however, from time to time overtime may be offered at a premium rate during busy periods. However, all overtime is optional and can be declined.
