About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to support children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a specialist provision setting in Cardiff. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each pupil.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Work collaboratively with support staff and specialists to provide individualized support to pupils.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with ALN.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior and academic success.
- Regularly communicate progress and development to parents, colleagues, and external agencies as required.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning while adhering to the school\’s policies and curriculum guidelines.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly those with Additional Learning Needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- A compassionate and patient approach to teaching.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of all learners.
