The University of Reading School of Law wishes to appoint a further outstanding Associate Professor in Commercial and/or Corporate Law to further enhance our academic faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic community with a global outlook and a focus on academic excellence. The successful applicant will contribute to the teaching and learning agenda of the School of Law and the student experience. They will also conduct research that enhances the research reputation of the School, which has achieved significant recognition in the latest Research Excellence Framework.

You will have:
- A recognised record of research excellence in Commercial Law and/or Corporate Law, suitable for the level of the post;
- The ability to conduct high-quality (4* and 3* REF) research;
- Internationally recognised expertise in Commercial Law and/or Corporate Law;
- Emerging global research esteem;
- Ability to provide excellent teaching to UG and PG students in Commercial Law and/or Corporate Law;
- Ability to teach at least one core LL.B subject;
- Experience in supervising PhD students;
- Academic leadership experience and contributions to academic life;
- A well-developed 5-year research plan;
- Willingness to participate actively in the Law School community.
