We are a creative, artist-founded company with a small studio culture, recognized with multiple Emmy and VES awards. Recent projects include Avatar: The Way of Water, House of the Dragon, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, For All Mankind, Masters of the Air , among others.

Position: Previs Shot Creator/Animator

This is a project-based, full-time, remote position within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Create shot sequences from storyboards or scripts to support storytelling
• Maintain a strong sense of composition, color, and timing
• Establish character blocking, camera positioning, and animate camera movements
• Create realistic character animations adhering to the 12 principles of animation
• Animate creatures, props, and vehicles
• Use cinematic language and camera effects like motion blur and depth of field to create realism
• Refine mocap animations for clarity and impact
• Pay attention to detail and technical specifications for each project
• Ensure high quality and efficiency in output
• Understand shot continuity to guide creation
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Adapt quickly to changes and feedback

Essential Skills

• Autodesk Maya
• Adobe After Effects
• Autodesk MotionBuilder (a plus)
• PFTrack (a plus)

Requirements

• Submit your resume, demo reel/portfolio link (with password if needed), and a detailed breakdown of your contribution
• Your reel should include character and camera animation work
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed, with major studio clients
