IBA Client Account Handler

Are you an experienced IBA professional looking for your next challenge in the London insurance market? We’re on the lookout for a highly organized and detail-oriented IBA Client Account Handler to join our dynamic team.

Role Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)

Location: Remote working from within the UK

Salary – £45,000 > £50,000 + Bonus & Benefits

We are partnered with a global information technology company with a strong foothold and a focused division within the insurance industry.

If you have at least 3 years of experience in a London Market broking house, a strong grasp of insurance accounting, and top-tier reconciliation skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities for the IBA Client Account Handler will include but are not limited to:

Managing client and insurer accounts in line with regulatory and company standards
Handling account reconciliations and swiftly resolving queries
Accurately allocating cash receipts and payments
Collaborating with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Maintaining and reconciling client and insurer ledgers
Supporting month-end and year-end financial closings
Proactively managing aged debt and unallocated cash
Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations
Using GXB (Global XB) or similar broking/accounting platforms (a big plus!)

Skills required for the IBA Client Account Handler will include but are not limited to:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IBA role within the London insurance market
Solid knowledge of IBA accounting, reconciliation, and cash allocation
Familiarity with GXB or equivalent broking platforms is highly desirable
Strong Excel skills and confidence in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A sharp eye for detail and high level of numeracy
Working knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance standards
