Job Summary
The primary duty of the role is to manage applications and leads from all direct channels to achieve sales targets. The Student Recruitment Specialist will oversee daily orientation and admission processes for prospective and enrolled students from these channels, and support retail applicants when needed. Responsibilities include handling requests from online and offline channels, optimizing the information and orientation process up to enrolment, and supporting end-to-end admissions for UCAS and direct applications.
The role also involves supporting marketing activities in London, such as school presentations, open days, recruitment fairs, and company events. Regular contact with the finance department to verify payment statuses and collaboration with other departments are also essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling direct applications and leads
- Managing the direct inbox
- Communicating daily with prospective students
- Submitting weekly reports on applications and enrollment conversions
- Being the first contact point for orientation activities
- Advising applicants on visa/UKVI documentation in line with institutional policies
- Reviewing, issuing, and monitoring visas for eligible applicants according to UKVI CAS policies
- Supporting the Student Recruitment Manager with recruitment tasks and report preparation
- Managing orientation requests via email, video call, or in person
- Supporting admissions inbox management
- Participating in recruitment activities such as open days, fairs, and school presentations
- Occasionally traveling to UK fairs
- Collaborating with Programme Leaders during admissions
- Updating all used platforms
- Achieving set targets and objectives
- Supporting agents and partners with applications
Education and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles within higher education
- Experience in creating reports and managing databases
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Mac systems
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Italian or Mandarin is a plus
- Personal skills: ability to work under pressure, flexibility to travel, teamwork, commercial mindset, organization, and attention to detail
- Experience working with targets and objectives
