The beautiful countryside awaits... if you are looking for a Consultant level Radiology post this could be your chance! This post is substantive and based in a location which is known for its beauty. It is a lovely location to raise a family and has a plethora of excellent schools. It also has fantastic rail and road links with easy access to major cities.
The post holder will join a team of 26 Consultants, currently including 5 Interventional Radiologists working across two sites. This hospital has been a vascular center since 2011. It fosters a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and there is a fantastic working relationship between the surgeons and Radiologists.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Qualifications
- MBBS and FRCR or equivalent
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register
- 5 Years clinical experience in Radiology
- Experience in a special interest that will complement those existing in the department
- Experience of PACS Radiology
- Ability to cope with the demands of a DGH based Consultant
- Ability to lead and develop service
- Ability to communicate effectively in written English
- Understanding of clinical governance and the individual responsibilities it implies.
Additional Information: This post entails 10 programmed activities (PAs) per week in total. The exact make-up of the job plan will be subject to agreement and evening sessions will be available.
