For Companies We are currently looking to recruit a Project Engineer on behalf of our client, to support the safe and effective delivery of both maintenance and growth CAPEX projects on their COMAH-regulated facility.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Teesside.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering activities for assigned projects from feasibility to commissioning.
- Prepare technical documentation, coordinate design reviews, and manage project queries.
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations (CDM, COMAH) and internal safety procedures.
- Support stakeholder engagement and interface with planning authorities, regulatory bodies, and contractors.
- Track project budgets, forecasts, and ensure accurate reporting.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process or similar)
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certified
- Project experience within process, chemical, or COMAH-regulated sites
- Proficient in AutoCAD, P&ID, HAZOP, and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
