The day-to-day role of a community carer has many misconceptions and many new to care never look back once they start on this career path. When you have a positive impact on an individual and their relatives’ lives for a living, you can imagine how rewarding that is. Here are the standardised type of duties our carers would be involved in day-to-day:
- Make visits to clients in their own home using your own vehicle
- Help Premier’s clients meet their desired outcomes from our services
- Help with personal care such as washing and showering
- Cook and serve meals and drinks
- Help with medications
- Support with day to day living
- Recording visits live with our digital care planning system
