Principal Tutors is a multi-award winning tutoring business arranging online one to one tuition for pupils throughout the UK and internationally. We are looking for qualified chemistry teachers with an interest in working part-time flexible hours as online chemistry tutors. You must be able to teach up to GCSE level in chemistry and have experience doing so in UK (or International British) schools. Tutors that can also teach GCSE science and/or A-level maths should also apply. DBS required in most cases, although we can assist if needed. Immediate start for the right person.
Responsibilities- Tutors deliver personalised and high quality one to one chemistry and science tuition online.
- Tutors have full autonomy on how to deliver the subject content and how to best support the pupils in their case load.
- University Bachelorβs degree required as a minimum.
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent.
Home-based online tutoring. Part-time, flexible and on-going working hours. Set your own hours and be in control of your own teaching. No observations. No targets. No marking. Highly engaged learners on a one to one basis. We will work with you to build your tutoring hours to the level you want.

- You will be familiar with how your subject knowledge fits within the UK National Curriculum.
- Minimum of 5 years experience teaching chemistry at secondary level (KS3 and GCSE) in a UK or British International school.
