In this role, you will be part of the Accenture Microsoft Business Group working closely with Accenture Client Leadership to identify and drive Microsoft-based digital transformation opportunities within their client accounts. Your focus will be on originating and leading Accenture’s sales efforts around the Microsoft ecosystem and growing within these established client relationships.
In support of our continued growth, we are looking for an Avanade Client Account Lead to capitalize on our capabilities. Our goal is to originate and grow our core business by driving a collaborative growth strategy and supporting Accenture’s sales and revenue targets. As the Client Account Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring these objectives are met.

- Experience working in partner-driven sales models, ideally with Accenture or similar strategic alliances.
- Proven success in enterprise technology sales focusing on Microsoft solutions (Cloud, Data & AI, Modern Workplace, Business Applications).
- Strong ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders in a structured sales environment.
- Familiarity with the Communication, Media & Technology sectors, with the ability to engage at the C-suite level.
- Ability to align Microsoft technology solutions to business transformation needs within Accenture’s consulting framework.
- Expertise in deal structuring, contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and performance-based contracting.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale enterprise deals involving multi-millions of dollars.

You will collaborate with Accenture’s account teams to drive Microsoft-focused solutions, ensuring alignment with client strategies and successful project execution with an industry focus. Your role involves growing the pipeline and sales by supporting, managing, or leading the origination and/or closing of sales opportunities across various offerings. You will develop your sales skills further and grow into more complex sales roles, either laterally, upward, or within your current role. This role will also be responsible for leading client partnerships and ensuring the successful delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute strategic account plans in partnership with Accenture to drive Microsoft-focused growth.
- Lead the sale of large and complex opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor, engaging C-level stakeholders to shape and drive digital transformation strategies.
- Support sales efforts by providing expertise in Microsoft cloud, security, and AI solutions.
- Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the client base.
- Ensure deal compliance, contract negotiation, and financial alignment.
- Advocate for emerging Microsoft technologies and thought leadership within client engagements.
- Coordinate across Avanade and Accenture teams to ensure delivery excellence and high client satisfaction.
