- Mechanical assembly.
- Sheet metal work.
- Fabrication and finishing of aluminium and steel products.
These components will be expertly welded, rigorously tested, and inspected to meet our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly guidelines to complete tasks with precision.
- Assemble and test products at various stages of production.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, such as ACE activities (5S, TPM, Turnbacks, and Clinics).
- Maintain traceability of materials and adhere to rigorous quality control standards.
- Pursue ongoing training, including welding certification requirements.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
- Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.
Shifts:
This role requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts:
- Morning: 6:00 AM–1:45 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 AM–12:00 PM (Friday).
- Afternoon: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 12:15 PM–5:15 PM (Friday).
There may be a possibility of moving to night shifts. Ample notice will be provided if required.
Education & Experience:
NVQ, City & Guilds, or a similar vocational qualification in fabrication, mechanical, or engineering (equivalent experience will also be considered).
Skills & Certifications:
- Proficiency with precision tools such as Vernier calipers, digital calipers, or measuring gauges.
- Experience in aerospace, motorsport, or similar industries is advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in hand fabrication and sheet metal work.
- Proven ability to meet high tolerance standards.
Required Security Clearance:
This role may involve access to export-controlled information and hardware. An export license may be required to comply with applicable laws and regulations. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory security checks, export license approval, and, if applicable, the completion of a non-disclosure agreement.
