I am seeking an Events Manager on a Maternity Cover basis to join my exciting client based in Norwich, a business that is dedicated to delivering real impact through a comprehensive programme of training and events.
As the Events Manager, you will:
- Manage the training programme portfolio and other events.
- Facilitate planning meetings to structure and schedule programmes effectively.
- Coordinate logistical and administrative aspects of events, including registration, content drafting, and managing queries.
- Ensure collection of statistics, monitoring of events, and feedback evaluation.
- Coordinate post-course evaluation meetings to enhance future courses.
- Oversee onsite events and manage virtual delegates.
- Produce budget forecasts and maintain budget accuracy.
- Provide IT support for onsite and virtual training requirements.
- Offer troubleshooting and support during training events.
Who are you? I am seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual with experience or qualifications in events management. You should possess a strong customer focus, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. Competency in computer usage, ability to learn quickly, and experience with events management software are desirable. You should be highly organised, approachable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Please note this is a part-time maternity cover post for 15 months, with a salary up to £30,500 pro-rata, per annum; the higher bracket is available to those with several years of experience and qualifications. Normal working days are likely to be between Tuesday and Friday.
