Role Profile:

These are exciting roles providing support to the business through effective business partnering with stakeholders across Halfords and creating financial reports that drive decision-making. As a Finance Business Partner, you will analyze data to support financial control and help shape the company\’s estate.

What will the role involve?

• Supporting the Finance teams in strategy delivery and driving business performance with financial support.
• Producing financial analysis and commentary, including weekly and monthly reports, to aid decision-making.
• Helping the Finance Leadership Team understand and control costs, challenge where needed, and improve operational efficiencies.
• Creating budgets and forecasts, contributing to risk and opportunity assessments.
• Providing ad hoc financial insights to support projects.
• Appraising investments and business opportunities using financial models.
• Presenting to the B2B Retail Leadership Team on performance and strategic initiatives as needed.

• Ability to analyze complex data for commercial decisions.

• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and handles pressure well.

• High attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with stakeholders.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; PowerBI skills are desirable.

• Enthusiastic about progressing within the business.

• Fully qualified chartered accountant, with property experience preferred.

• The role is based at our Support Centre in Redditch, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
